My tutorial class today needs me and my partner to search for examples of 'Computerized Reading' which is reading comprehension activities and examples of reading for information. We had found websites that relate to the tasks.
For the reading comprehension activities, you can visit the website here. http://rhlschool.com/. We found it quite useful although the activities in this site can’t be done online. This website is useful for parents and teachers to give to their student or their children. It provided quality worksheets for teaching, reinforcement, and review such as reading comprehension worksheets. It’s free but we have to print out the worksheets. Other than that, this site also has English and Mathematics problem solving as well as research skills. My partner, Puteri Nor Sharihan and I also agreed that these worksheets activities are suitable for children from elementary school and secondary school because it is state in the website that the worksheets are serve as the basic for lesson. However, after we tried to do some questions from the worksheets, we found that it is quite hard and challenging too. So, if students from higher level of education want to improve their English, this will be the perfect site to visit. Since the website didn’t provide any answers for their questions, you will need to refer and discuss with your lecturer or tutor for the answers. We think it’s pretty benefiting. Try it!
